Purely Magic's Silk Through Card

A card chosen by the spectator is inspected and returned to the deck. Instantly it is found face-up among the other cards. The magician, noting what has just happened, picks up the card and impales it with a 9" silk. After removing the silk, the card is handed out for inspection. The presentation is what makes the cards inspectable, as the audience never holds the gimmicked card. This gimmick allows you to show both sides of the card, even while passing the silk through the center!
