Jay Sankey's Billusion

You ask for the loan a bill. Any bill, any denomination. You display a small metal disc. You explain that the disc is made of an unidentifiable material that you found while visiting the site of a UFO crash. You begin to rub the disc across the bill. Suddenly it appears to melt halfway into the bill! k appears as if the effect was literally stopped in the middle of the magic.
