Pavel's Rapid Rope Routine

Two ends of a piece of rope visibly knot themselves forming a loop which is then cut in the center. Suddenly, the rope ends are bound together again! The loop is cut one more time. The two knots in the rope are untied which produces three pieces of rope of about the same length. Finally, and without any suspicious moves, the ropes are tossed into the air.
